Are car trackers worth it?

Are car trackers worth it? Absolutely, but the installation matters just as much as the tracker itself.

A properly installed tracker can help with vehicle recovery, location monitoring, movement alerts, and added peace of mind.

But when installed wrongly, you can end up with battery drain, inaccurate ignition alerts, intermittent tracking, blown fuses, or even electrical issues, especially on modern vehicles.

The problem isn’t always the tracker. Sometimes, it’s how and where it was installed.

When fitting a tracker, always make sure the wiring is done correctly and the vehicle is tested afterwards.
